UIT offers reliable email services for all eligible faculty, staff and students at Tufts. The core of the system, named Trumpeter, consolidates email services into a unified, reliable set of tools that include standard email, mailing lists, and a web-based email client.
Related services include the ability to subscribe to mailing lists , both within and outside of Tufts, and IMP Webmail, the Universitiy web-based email client, which gives you access to your Trumpeter account from any computer with an active Internet connection.
In late winter of 2005, the University IT Support Center released the customized next generation Mozilla email client named Thunderbird.
