Trumpeter consolidates the suite of UIT email and electronic communication services into a unified, consistent means of intra-University communication based upon open Internet standards and protocols. A partial list of Trumpeter services include IMP Webmail, Mozilla Mail, directory services using LDAP (Lightweight Directory Application Protocol), IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) server, and fast pinpoint addressing.
You can adjust your Trumpeter email settings, such as vacation notices, password, and forwarding address by clicking on the Trumpeter Email Services link above and logging in with your UTLN. The User Tools link provides basic help to users who need assistance using the tools. Administrator Tools provides a description of additional options that are only available to administrators of the system and a link to the tools documentation.
