Microsoft®, as part of their campus wide agreement with Tufts University, has extended the Student Select Software Purchase Program to Tufts University faculty and staff. Under this extension of Student Select Software program, Tufts' employees may purchase, at deeply discounted prices, a range of Microsoft products for installation on a home computer. Any software purchased under this program may be installed on a home computer and used for any legal purpose whatsoever. Further, employees who purchase software under the Student Select program are granted a perpetual license. The software purchased through this program does not need to be removed from the home machine when an employee separates from the University.The Employee Select Software purchase program allows each Tufts employee to purchase a copy of each Microsoft® product covered under the agreement. Discounts are significant.
Eligibility
Any individual whose primary affiliation with Tufts University is either faculty, clinical faculty or staff is eligible for this software purchase program.
Available Software
The software available under this program is updated periodically. Current titles include Project, Visio, various versions of Office, and a Windows upgrade. For the latest titles available, go to the ordering web site, http://go.tufts.edu/msdiscount and click on Software.
How to Order:
Tufts University has contracted with e-academy, a software distribution firm, to handle distribution of software covered under the Employee Select Software Purchase Program. University employees wishing to purchase software under the Employee Select amendment may do so by going to http://go.tufts.edu/msdiscount. Employees will be required first to register on the e-academy web site by entering their UTLN, Tufts University email address and by selecting a password. Once registration is complete, employees may authenticate themselves and then place Employee Select software orders. Once an order has been placed, media will be shipped to you within 3 business days.
