is the home of Tufts departmental e-learning sites. Featuring web-based training (WBT) and listings for instructor led courses (ILT), individual departments can participate by creating their own sub-learncenters with a collection of customized, online training to accommodate their individual needs. The Learning Center includes reports of each individual’s progress, allowing managers to satisfy state and federal compliance training requirements for their staff.
For users of the Learning Center, the convenience of anytime, anywhere training offers a flexible option to the traditional classroom, providing a learning experience that is well-suited to a busy schedule. Taking a WBT course is as simple as clicking its link. Because each users progress is tracked by the system, online WBT courses that are stopped in the middle give the returning user the option to resume the course where they last left off. The My Learning Plan link, located on the sidebar of all Learning Centers, provides users with detailed listing of all past, current, and future enrollments in all of the departmental sub-learncenters. As it is with WBT courses, signing up for an ILT is as easy as clicking a link on the sub-learncenter calendar or from the list of currently available classes on the Instructor Led Training page.
Note that some departmental training may be restricted to its employees. If you are uncertain about the open or closed status of a particular training session, use the Contact Us link, located at the top of each page, to contact the centers administrator.
