This year's program will feature a 3 hour workshop entitled, "Is It Working? Evaluating the Success of Your Teaching," run by assessment expert Barbara Walvoord, fellow emerita, Institute for Educational Initiatives and concurrent professor emerita of English, Notre Dame University. The workshop will focus on how classroom/clinic/ laboratory-level assessment can be optimally effective and how it can be used for assessment and improvement in larger units such as the department or college.
Two hands-on afternoon technology workshops will be offered: "Using Spark Tools and Classroom Response Systems (CRS) to Evaluate Student Learning;" and "Putting It All Together with the New TUSK Functionality."
