About Us - Information Security

The UIT Information Security Office provides leadership across all campuses to protect the University’s overall mission by offering flexible consulting services to advise Tufts' Information Stewards on ways to cost-effectively identify, analyze and manage risk to sensitive information assets.  They also provide analytical and tactical support for legal compliance and security issues, working with partners in all departments and schools to continuously improve Tufts collective ability to prevent, detect, respond and recover from incidents that affect the security of proprietary data and the personal information entrusted to their care.
