About Us - Communications and Organizational Effectiveness

Communications and Organizational Effectiveness (COE) provides IT education and outreach by disseminating details about UIT’s new and existing IT products and services, overseeing the communication plans for many UIT projects, providing marketing for technology events, and developing and maintaining UIT’s online presence. Located within Communications and Organizational Effectiveness, the UIT Training and Documentation Department offers over 100 instructor-led classes on three campuses, more than 50 custom technical manuals, many quick reference guides, and multiple sources of online documentation and learning options.  In addition, COE also provides procedural analysis and development within UIT to ensure that UIT’s processes best serve the Tufts community.
