Having verified those settings, log in to Cisco TelePresence Movi with your Tufts Username (UTLN) and the Movi password (not your Tufts password) provided with your Movi ID by the UIT Client Support Center. You can opt to use the check boxes on the screen to have Movi remember your username, password and sign in automatically.
The dropdown box on the top left of the Movi interface next to your name can be used to set your status.
This menu is also used to sign out of the Movi application.
|Click this icon (located in the top right corner) to see how you appear to others.|
|Click the Tools icon (located in the top right corner) to access the Movi settings.|
Locating Other Tufts Movi Users
Search for other registered Movi users by typing their first or last name in the search field.
Your Contacts List
As you locate contacts, selecting any contact will activate an Add to my contacts link, which can be used to build your Contacts List.
If you are unable to locate someone, they may not have a Movi account yet, which they can request from UIT Client Support Center via email at UITSC@tufts.edu or by calling (617) 627-3376.
Using the Contacts List for individuals you call frequently eliminates the need to manually search for them. Names in the contact list will have a green dot if the individual is online and ready to receive a call. A red dot indicates that they are busy. No dot at all means the individual is not logged in.
If you don't opt to build a Contacts List, you can always click to review your recent calls and call people who you have called recently.
