Information Security and Chief Information Security Officer
Chuck directs a talented team of consultative and operationally focused security experts who engage with constituents across the University to help ensure the safety of Tufts computing environment, promote information stewardship and personal privacy for the greater Tufts community. Chuck is a 15 year IT security veteran with an information security analysis, management and consulting background. Before joining UIT his employers included BBN Planet, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, @stake, and Symantec Corporation.
Chuck holds a B.A. Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston and CISSP and CISA certifications. He is a member of EDUCAUSE, NERCOMP, and ISSA and enjoys international travel, food, wine and micromechanics/horology.
