Account Support

Tufts Username and Tufts Password Accounts

Your Tufts Username (UTLN) and Tufts Password accounts provide access to Exchange Email (including OWA), Tufts network shares (e.g. P:, Q: and R: drives), Tufts VPN, and VPN Network Connect, the Research Cluster and Bioinformatics servers, Spark blogs and wikis, Trunk, and many other network services.

If you've forgotten your Tufts Username or Password, need to change your Tufts Password, or wish to forward your Tufts email, Tufts Tools provide quick and easy self-service options.

You can also submit your incident or request in the TechConnect Service Desk to have it routed quickly and correctly to your IT Support group, contact your FSP, or call Client Support Center at (617) 627-3376.


Exchange Email Accounts

Faculty and Staff Exchange Email Accounts

Exchange email account administration for faculty and staff is provided by the UIT Support Center. Many aspects of your account, including mail forwarding, vacation notices, and account delegation are configured through your email software. See http://go.tufts.edu/infoexchange and view the Email Client Guide for your particular email client. For password resets, email forwarding, or help with your Tufts Username, see Tufts Tools. You can also contact your FSP or call (617) 627-3376.

Trunk and Spark Tools

All faculty, staff, and students can create new Trunk and Spark tool (blogs, wikis, etc.) accounts. After creating a new blog, wiki or Trunk site, use your Tufts Username and Tufts Password to access it. For problems other than account access, contact trunk@tufts.edu (Trunk) or david.grogan@tufts.edu  (Spark tools).


Emerald

Access your Emerald account with your Tufts Username and Tufts Password. For assistance with Emerald accounts, contact your FSP or email uitsc@tufts.edu.

Emerald accounts are only available to those who support pre-existing web spaces.


Research Cluster

New account requests are placed through the Tufts University Computer Account form. For more information about this form and where to send it once completed, see User Account Info. Research cluster questions can be addressed by sending an e-mail to cluster-support@tufts.edu.
