University Committee on Teaching and Faculty Development (UCTFD)
The University Committee on Teaching and Faculty Development (UCTFD) is an all-university committee whose role is to assist the provost in affirming excellent teaching as a priority at Tufts, and in that context to promote and coordinate the teaching development activities of the different schools. School Deans appoint a member to the committee to represent their school's local teaching development "office" or process. The committee meets once a month during the academic year and sponsors the annual University Conference on Teaching and Learning. AT staff work with the committee to plan and organize the conference.
