What I do: |
| I provide systems and application support for Academic Technology services. I assist developers by planning and provisioning resources to facilitate the applications that they develop. I help to diagnose and resolve application/systems issues that impact AT services. I also help with desktop support concerns in my role as an FSP for Academic Technology's staff. |
Education & Background: |
B.S. Engineering Physics, University of Illinois, 2005 Prior to joining Academic Technology in Sept. '08, I worked for the School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois as a network analyst. My responsibilities there included server administration, computer lab administration and general IT support for faculty, staff and students. |
Professional Interests: |
| I am always looking to pick up new tools and learn new systems administration techniques. I also have a growing interest in software development, since writing software helps inform my understanding of the applications I use and support daily. |
