What I do:

I collaborate with UIT Academic Technology colleagues to plan, design and evaluate online and desktop applications. As a designer, my goal is to create interfaces that actively support learning, teaching and research. I also integrate usability and user-centered design in our development process. I also enjoy collaborating with faculty in devising instructional strategies for integrating technology in their teaching.

Education & Background:

To complement my visual arts background (BFA in Photography / Digital Media, School of Visual Arts, NYC), I pursued a Masters in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to working at Tufts, I was working as a web designer in the commercial world.

Professional Interests:

Interactive design in the field of education is truly a multidisciplinary field! High on my list of professional interests are information design, usability, instructional design, and issues of motivation and engagement in education.
