Research Storage

UIT uses its Network Appliance file storage service to meet a variety of storage needs in support of faculty, staff and students.  One of the application for this product is to provide Tufts research faculty with data storage services beyond their P: and Q: drives (where no-research documents should be stored) in support of their research-specific computational and data acquisition requirements. Researchers can ask for storage shares from 50GB to 1TB and beyond.  Some of this storage is mounted on the UIT High-Performance Computing Research Cluster.
