The Voice Communications Help Desk is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to assist with all telephone related repairs, including equipment, features, voice-mail, circuits and jacks. Standard turnaround time for routine repairs is one business day from the time the trouble is reported.

To report a telephone trouble, call the Voice Communications Help Desk at x74357 (or 617-627-4357 from off campus) or send an email to teldesk@tufts.edu. Please provide the primary number, exact location and jack ID of the defective phone or line, a contact number where we can reach you, the model of the telephone equipment being used and a detailed description of the problem.Grafton campus:
If you are not on campus, telephone troubles may be reported by calling (508) 887- 4682.
Dial extension 84682 from any campus phone and report your telephone trouble. Please provide the primary number, exact location and jack ID of the defective phone or line, a contact number where we can reach you, the model of the telephone equipment being used and a detailed description of the problem.
Telephone Jack Repairs:
If you have a defective telephone jack, dial extension 73376 and report your jack trouble to the UIT Customer Support Center. Please provide a detailed description of the problem, the exact location and jack ID (labeled on jack) of the defective jack and a contact number where you can be reached.
